I feel your pain, bro.

Getting hit in the rear is my biggest fear. Not much you can do to avoid it.

Hang tough.

Good luck.

You could have a "really sore neck" and a new GT 500 in the driveway when you cash the check.

I was pulling into the Ford dealership to trade in my wife's car (deal negotiated) and got rear ended by a van which caused a small dent in the bumper. Small dent was already present from another hit and run but they never made an issue out of it.

Not cool. And you have (had) a great looking car. Getting hit sucks. But in my case, it's the reason I got the Mustang. A van totalled my 200SX, so I had to buy a new car. Good excuse to buy a Mustang. As someone else said, maybe it's upgrade time for you.

Yea just the inconvienience of having to wait for your Mustang to be repaired should be atleast 10k less we forget the pain and suffering. The waiting for the Stang may be considered suffering though.Good Luck make sure OEM parts make it's way back on your car.DEMAND it.

THANKS for all of your' posts. It was a sad day today as I went to the collision center to go over everything. I'm getting new Mac's ab's and new trims pieces for the tailights. The adjuster was super cool and we looked up the parts at her desk and she put the prices of the stuff into the estimate right then. Said I didn't need to show receipts for the parts. She said she would get back to me if there was anything else once they got it on the lift to check the under side out. i'm gonna ask about the rear bumber and the difference for the Califirnia Special bumber price. I really like that rear bumber. I don't think the price would be much different. It's funny how many people said to upgrade as I was thinking the same thing.

My insurance agent said she would wait till after the car was fixed to see the total damages and to see if I could go after loss of value to the car. That is one thing that I am NOT backing down from. My wife had wrecked her car 2 years back and we had to suck up about 4 grand b/c it was wrecked. Now a days the dealers just punch in the vin and do a report on them first. I plan on keeping my car like my 66 mustang that I have but you never know what might happen down the road.

Thanks again...

PS they gave me a Chevy Monte Carlo to drive.... I having withdrawl symptoms already
