I have an '04 that has the same rattles, it's got only 21k miles on it. It gets better when the weather warms up. When it's really cold its kinda annoying.

I found my anoying rattle after six weeks of searching & taking everything apart, I had the scratchy metal to metal rattle from the front left & right corners of top. Took me a while to narrow down cause I only hear good out of one ear. The latches where they attach to top were loose, I could wiggle them back & forth. I tightenen the 2 torx bolts on each and rattle was gone. You need a T30 bit with a 1/4" wrench to get at the one under the handle. It's harg to get at anf they were the losest ones. I was putting the top down in cold weather just cause I couldn't stand the noise. Hope this helps someone, if it happens again I'll locktite it.

I just rolled over 24K miles on my Mystichrome vert, and amazingly enough, I have no rattles of any kind.

How is the rattle, continuous or only when driving over a bumb or hitting a pot hole ?
Mine rattles in only those latter cases, and I have 8.5k in ODO.
