This is where I ran my linelock wires through the firewall. I'll try to explain how to find it as best I can.

From inside the engine compartment feel the firewall below and two the right of the master brake cylinder. You should find a small round rubber stopper/gasket that has nothing running through it. Pull it out. Now to find the hole from inside the car you need to pull up on the insulation just above where the carpet stops. there's a round white piece of plastic attached to the insulation, the hole is behind the insulation just above and to the left of this piece of plastic. You'll need to feed the wire around the insulation on the left and through this hole, then punch a hole in the rubber gasket using a screw driver to feed the wire through. Run the gasket down the wire and push it back in the firewall.

Now I have no idea where you connect the wire for the shift light, sorry.

Just disconnect the negative battery cable (black wire) with a wrench or socket. I really haven't looked to closely at the battery connections, but you want to disconnect the negative cable and make sure it's not touching.

Oh, and don't lay your wrench across the positive and negative posts on the battery. that will make nice sparks.

Use a testlight or voltmeter to determine what fuse is hot with the key on the ON position. I can look for you later when I go to the garage. You have to pull a couple of screws out of the fender liner to get to the hole where you can run the wire....

It's handy for the track, especially with the tach on the wrong side. Still don't understand why Ford did that![:@]

I'd like one to keep me off the rev limiter, which is set at 6800rpms now. When you're moving this fast looking down at the tach is a pain.
