The fuel line tool can be had at any auto parts store. They are very cheap. Though, I have been told it's possible to install the CMCP delete plates without it. Apparently there is a way to rotate the fuel rail out of the way.

As for the MPG, I watch my mileage very carefully. I do it based on my odometer readings and my fill-up reciepts, not the in-dash computer (which is horribly inaccurate). I installed my CMCP deletes the at the same time as I installed UDPs. I saw no change in mileage--city, highway, or combined, before and after.

If you are looking for an article about them, here's one:

So Al, since you are ther resident expert, give it to me straight...

I emailed Brenspeed about a tune for the plates. Brent replied that a reduction in low end torque is noticeable and the best way to offset it with gears. He does not recommend doing the mod w/o doing gears as well.

I plan on doing gears at some point, but I want to make sure the CCMV delete mod is really worth it.

Is a reduction in low endtorque noticeable?

So no one can answer the question?

I'd search but there are million CCMP, CCMV, CCCP, threads out there.....

Yes, all you have to do is after disconnecting the COPS, just pull out the injectors. Then flip the harness from the passenger side to the drivers side and lay it upside down out of the way. Then proceed with the install. Here's a write up, just diregard the part about disconnecting the fuel line.
