What point will it make to intentionally run the **** out of the rental car just because yours got damaged?
You're right ... there would be no point. As long as I get something that gets me from home to work and back I'm fine. Was just blowing off steam ... I don't think I could ever drive a car into the ground on purpose because of an accident.
i know what u mean.

im getting a rental soon while my stang gets fixed.
i am looking forward to beating the living **** out of the car.

one question bro, got any neck or back pains? LMAO u can use that if u do, and make sure u do sue her for the resale value lost, because thats whats going to mess up the car the most, i bought a mustang for many other reasons but also because it holds its value well and it will eventually go up after time

Sorry to hear/see that. My car was rear ended by a Peterbilt truck a few months ago, so I know how you feel. My car was fixed, good as new, and yours will be too. A good body shop can make it showroom new, and make every part fit exactly right.

Well When I introduced myself on this site I said I'd post some pictures and here's my baby.

This morning 7:30 am heading to work as always. I've got my cd's playing in my car Metallica is ripping it up as always ... I'm in the middle of the intersection when a pick-up truck with 3-4 teenagers on their way to school ran a red light and just smashed into the car driving in the lane next to me. The car next to me then smashes into my baby sealing the drivers side door completely shut and knocking off the side mirror. Call the police and they come out ... block off the road. Curse a few times and watch this 16 yr old girl crying and hugging her 3 other teenage friends.

I was more in shock than anything when it happened trying to keep control of my car and not hit the light pole that this truck next to me was trying to plow me into. I call work and explain what happened, call my parents and again I explain the situation. I'm lucky I'm still able to drive the car. I've never been in a major accident like that before so it really rattled me quite a bit.

Well ... mental pain, a bit of physical pain and some tears ... the car will get fixed and I'm sure as F-@#$'ing hell going to get the most expensive rent a car they have on the F-@#$'ing lot and her insurance is going to pay for every single cent. I'm going to run the s@#t out of that car.
So that's it ... couple days off from work and I'm waiting next to the phone for her insurance agent to call me. Thank GOD she had insurance.

Thank GOD is all I have to say.

F-@#$...

I am so sorry this happened to you and your Stang. But, I am glad that your okay. Your car can be replaced. But it's really hard to look at a banged up Stang. Hang in there. It will all work out![sm=imsorry.gif]

Exactly, a GOOD body shop. If your insurance company tries to make you go to a specific shop don't do it, they have a contract with that shop and they will do the repairs the insurance company wants them to, not always what needs to be done. Do your research and find a good, reputable shop, one that will work with you. Tell the insurance adjuster this is where you are taking it. They cannot legally tell you that you have to take it somewhere they choose. Also, if it is fixed right, it will be as good as, if not better than, new. Plus as far as depreciation goes, that can be your secret. Most shops do not report to carfax, pretty much only dealers report to them. When my last car was traded in, the carfax was clean, but I was rear-ended in it a couple years prior and had it fixed. I told them it was wrecked, but the dealer said they had paperwork to show otherwise so they gave me a great value for it.
