I think I'll still avoid burnouts just because of burning out brakes, etc..

Brenspeed has this kit, seems simpler with only 1 selenoid and nothing else to buy, anyone tried it?

here is the line lockkit I use. It's a one solenoid kit from Summit racing, it works great.

here is a vid of them being used at the track...

So what is the big difference between one and two solenoids? Whats the advantage of two?

Uhh, negative. That's a Cobra with a KB. I'm pretty sure they didn't make any Cobras with automatics in them, but even if they did, that thing has so much power he just mashed it and that was the result. That is a BAD *** car...

jmk3 - the one with one solenoid installs BEFORE the ABS, which has caused problems for some people. Get the two-solenoid kit, it's much better (after the ABS).

Does anyone know of any GOOD LOOKING shifters with momentary switches in them that have the stock handle-thread? If so, could you post up a link?

The link above for the CC thing is broken, here's the correct one

I also recommend going with the dual solenoid, it's much more reliable.

Does anyone make a line lock kit for the 08s? I've only seen the one kit for the 05-06s, has anything changed?

I prefer the 2nd gear drop at the drag strip. But for fun 1st gear is just fine
