Hitting Big 4-0 and love my Steeda/Borla stingers....I'm the alarm clock for the neighborhood. Drone sucks but run at 80 and there is no drone...but to each his own..thats why there are so many choices of products...now where did I put my credit card...

20+ years of Iron Maiden, Trouble, King Diamond, Iced Earthand misc metalI can still hear a pin drop.Superior genetics.

Same here (40 years of rock), but I never really blast the cd TOO loud in the car (asking for trouble in such a small space- even with superior genetics)........[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Your 68 probably sounds a lot better cause it does not have the dreaded blubbery cat convertors that we have. If you install an off road x-pipe it really makes em sound better.

I just replaced my Ford Racing Borlas with GTA's. I couldn't handle the drone. The GTA's are drone free but they sound exactly like stock. So I paid $289 for nice looking exhaust tips. (GTA's have great tips). The Flow Masters on my 70 Mach are loud but not annoyingly loud. They have that "bigga bigga bigga" sound. Of course I understand the production of the sound is totally different. Anyway I just couldn't hang with the FFRP stingers. I guess the next thing I'll be buying is a grave plot.
So what are you going to do with your old Ford Racing Borlas? I am looking for a set, but I cannot see paying $450+ dollars for mufflers. Comeon they are just mufflers. fd

I'm going to sell them. They clash with the stock set that are sitting next to them on the shelf in the garage.

another oldie here. im 60 and like my magnaflows. deep and mellow but not loud.
.... and I thought I was the old man on here at 45! A deeper, louder exhaust setup is definitely on the mod list, but I haven't decided what to get yet.

How much are you going to be asking and what part of the country do you live in? fd
