bumpsteer problem???

but you are not experiencing my problem, are you? you can drive through all kind of bumps and your car feels planted i suppose? you steering wheel doesnt move right?

thats correct redfire. mine does not pull to the right when hitting a bump. it stays straight and true. i have heard that they do have a little bump steer when you lower them. but there has to be a fix. like you said, where is crazy al? here is an old thread about lowering but i dont know if they talk about bump steer. but you could ask some other people. also do some searching on other past threads and you might come up with something. also how much did you lower yours? front and rear? i might be doing it down the road but dont want to drop to much. an 1" or so all around would suit me. maybe 1.2 in front and 1.4 in the

you need to adjust your suspension components to adjust bumpsteer, like on my 240 (IRS) i got adjustable tie rods to help adjust bumpsteer, along with adjustable rear upper control arms

Have you had the alignment checked recently? If the toe is off, that will cause bumpsteer. I'd check that.
