I have the 13" Black. It is awesome. There is no loss in reception. It is surely better than the stock one.

I have the 8" black, and it looks fine to me, but I can't say a thing about reception since I absolutely NEVER listen to the radio...

I only bought it to have something on the base until I get around to having it removed and the hole filled, someday.

My 14 incher looks great...but the reception is OK - nothing like the original.

I need to use a little lock-tite on the threads becauseI went to a mechanical car wash and forgot to unscrew the antenna [&:] I never go to those things and the first time I go I forget the f*cking thing...annoying. It doesn't move around but I want to make sure the sucker doesn't fly off and stab someone in the eye.

So is there a difference in the quality, craftmanship between these black 14" antennas? $29.99, $17.99, $9.99 from autozone, why whould you get the one for 30, is it better?

I can't see how it would be better.....it's just a damn rod with the right screw. That's how these morons manipulate us....[:@]

I chopped the stock antenna even with the roof line with a dremel and then painted the tip black after polishing it up. Looks awesome and was free.
