I think you may be wrong on a couple of things here.
Saleen SC capable of 400+= yes

Stock block will not handle more than 8-9lbs of boost safely= That statement is dead wrong, its not just about the boost its also about the tune, I have been running the 3.4 pulley making 9-10lbs of boost without any issues. I know several people pushing 10lbs without problems, and have a buddy pushing over 12lbs on the stock block putting down 520hp to the ground, granted he can get 93octane at the pump which helps.

8-9lbs of boost will keep your car in the 380hp range= If you are only making 380rwhp on 8lbs of boost your tuner is on crack, I was putting down 438rwhp on 6.5lbs of boost.

But to answer the orginal post. Could you see 600+ rwhp running a Saleen SC, yes but not without some serious work.

Everyones numbers are going to be slightly different since each car is different and depending on what area of the states your in. I would suggest finding someone near you and looking at their tune to know what you will put down. Yes, 600RWHP is capable on these blowers with mods and engine work.

If you want to see the potential of Saleen S/C's go to Brenspeeds site and click on customers at the top of the page and scroll down. They've installed a gob of them with different power levels. I believe around 15lbs of boost is possible with the Saleen with smaller pulley and o/s crank pulley. If you keep it below 10lbs of boost and have a good tune your motor should hold up some time. The stock block is good up to 800 h.p. but the stock internals are a different story. 450rwhp makes for a fun street car, once you go above that your probably looking more at a strip car and should build accordingly.
