The Ghost

Went to the track last night to T&T a little bit. Mostly needed to work on my launching. But I had some surprising #'s. If anyone remembersI have sort of reached the point to whereI am overpowering the stock P-zero's. They just will not hook at launch anymore. So i am just playing around with minor changes in the tranny and launching different ways until I get off my butt and put new rubber on. I usually flash the converter on launch, which means stick it from an idle. But I spin like crazy. So I'm working on brake standing it to try to prevent spinning so bad. As I fully expected my 60ft times were slow (my car just seems to flash very well) I was back up into the 2.0 range. I can get1.9 with an occasionaldip into the 1.8'sby flashing butI spin every time. But what was strange was my top speed down the track was faster when I would brake stand at the tree. I launched both ways and was consistent with the 60's with whatI said above but was also within .06 on the top launching both ways with a higher speed from brake standing. I don't get it, and i want to figure it out so I can get that quick top end with my best bottom end. My best run of the night was:
2.04 60ft
5.638 330ft @ 64.59 mph
8.495 1/8th @ 86.04 mph And while times are what wins, I REALLY want to hit 90mph in the 1/8th with this car. Probably going to have to re-gear, I still run the stock 3.31's
