I know a lot of you fellows with automatic transmission GTs have the factory fluid taken out soon after purchase and a more expensive fluid of one type or another installed.

Is thisa procedure many of you do yourself ? If not, what sort of shop do you use? I know most of you avoid the quick-lube places if at all possible.

I'm bothered that Ford didn't put a fill tube or dipstick on the auto transmissions. Plus, this job would be difficult for me as I don't have a rack to put the car up on for easy undercarriage access.
