I wish I was on the left coast so I could go, enjoy guys thats a great deal. My brother is running his car at Lime Rock in CT, I think its costing him around $200. My only suggestion for anyone going for the first time, buy some brake pads.

a garage door opener flying off the visor at 130mph is quite a distraction (ask me how i know )

Not much of a road racing type.
My brother is, but he has a probe. We could rebadge it though.

you work at Citrus dont you? maybe you can set up a group buy for BRAKE PADS on the monday morning after LOL.
I'm friggin pissed right now. I also posted this info on another site. The moderators sent me a WARNING MESSAGE for posting it, and moved it to their "regional" forum which is open to all MODULAR FORDS
I'm getting sick of that site quick. It seems as though they make anyone a moderator and they're more concerned about flexing their muscles than letting people speak. It's the only forum i've seen where threads are constantly closed because someone doesn't like what someone says.

details now posted above - to answer ?'s so far......
phunnyguy - your 4 liter probably has enought scoot to get it done but your brakes are an issue. those little v6 brakes still have to stop a 3400lb car hauling *ss. stock brakes on the GT's are okay, but you'll likely melt yours off
techman - nothing has to be done to the car. the safety inspection is mainly making sure your lugs are tight and you have a good brake pedal and pads that arent down to the metal. make sure there is NOTHING loose in the vehicle. a garage door opener flying off the visor at 130mph is quite a distraction (ask me how i know )
helmets - if you don't have one, I can probably get a group buy put together thru my sponsor
