Default Handeling questions (Lowering, LCA's)

I want to lower my car by about and 1" up front and back. I am lost here and need to know.... in the midwest for ride and handeling (SCCA type)what type of springs should I go with for the V6. What am I looking to pay for the new springs with install? Will LCA's help with ride or is it more for preformance?
I know these are broad questions but I have no idea where to start with this info.

THe only springs that i know of that lower that stang the 1 inch you're looking for is that Ford Racing springs. As far as the ride goes, I can really only see it getting stiffer. I know that i read in one of the mags of a guy that got a whole new setup which was actually more of a comfort ride but performed better than stock. What that setup was is beyond me. But it does exist.

You need to read this article. It pretty much tells you everything you would want to know.

Not true at all, the FRPP Springs will lower 1.5" and maybe even more. Mine once settled were a shade over 1.5"

Roush are a 1" drop, but dunno if they work on a V6.

I won't go into all of what you asked....since these guys pointed you in some good directions to look for more info, but I will say that the LCA's will help more on the performance side of things rather than ride quality. Although they do help when it comes to going over awkward bumps and dips.
