I'm a true Chevy guy and can say right now that catback and CAI will never give a hugh jump in HP like he is claiming. I will say this a LT1 camaro and a stock GT from 05 -07 would be a good race, it would mostly the driver, cause they cars are pretty equal in HP and weight. I believe that if your Camaro guy says crap like that then his driving skills will match his ability to lie convincingly......kick his butt.

You don't even have to win to make him look like an @$$ lol. If he truley thinks that he bought a 365hp lt1 with those two mods than he is dumb, if he beats you than he is a lying SOB and he still looks like an ***. So you can't really lose in a situation like this.

Go to your local dragstrip on a test & tune day and have a grudge race. Tell himtalk is BS, lets go! Buy the way I hate that late platform of the Camaro/Firebird. My brother has a 96 bird and you can't see the hood when driving it. That would drive me crazy. Maybe with a scoop could help but how are you suppose to park it.

I had a '94 TA with cat back & K&N too and there's no way he would come close to you. My '00 LS1 TA was much quicker than my '94, and my money would be on a '05+ Mustang over even the LS1.

I had a 2001 WS6 T/A with 350 RWHP with CAI and tune and true dual exhaust and it was fast! But that is comparing apples to oranges andour Mustangs would beat him (your friend)hands down. Now I have 20 inch "anchors" as stated previous posterand a CAI w/dyno tune and would gladly race if he wasin the area.
