Default Shaker 500

Ok, I went to Best Buy to look for some better upper door speakers. Thinking that the little audiohead working there might be able to help me pick a good set. Well I was WRONG. It seems that I have to find out if the Shaker 500 is 2 ohm's or 4 ohm's in order to pick out speakers. I asked him where I could find this information and he said it should be in my owners manual. Again WRONG. Can anyone help me out in this ordeal? I love the stereo, just want better speakers.

It doesnt matter you can replace them with many different ohm speakers. Go to crutchfield and see the big selection they have.

I am sure they are approx 4 ohms. Its the door subs that are funky ( 5-6 ohms) Any of the good aftermarket speakers will work.

Door subs are different...i was thinking 3.xx something ohms....really wierd. The Shaker system is a good unit and a good factory system in reality. However you install an aftermarket HU then you will realize what you are missing. Cleaner and better power, night and day difference IMO.
