can water get in when you wash your car since you removed the factory glass windows?

Thats my question as well, how well sealed are they against water? I have enough problems with my ****ing trunk letting water in when I powerwash the car.

They are laser scans of the factory glass, so the curve and function is exactly the same. You remove the factory glass and adhere the new louvers as you would if you were replacing the glass. So the seal is water tight and fit OEM

I dont know about "Powerwashing" leaks but regular hand washing has not caused any water to leak in. You seal this the same way as the OEM glass was sealed.

This past Friday a guy ran a red light while I was making a left turn (I had the green) and while he swerved he still managed to clip my front passenger side. Looks like new bumper, quarter panel, and the rim is even scratced. So there will be some new paint, and thought I'd get these louvers and have them painted with the rest of the work.

Will the bodyshop need to do anything special to get the paint to stick, will it match up right since it'll be a different material?

If in the future they have to come out, how hard will it be to replace the factory glass?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Why not just buy them prepainted? $299 painted and they match the paint based on your cars vin #. It doesn't get any better than that. -Andrew http://www.silverhorseracing.com/web...ategory_id=255

Here is a link for installing them at the Silver Horse Racing web site.
http://www.silverhorseracing.com/Ins...stallation.pdf

When I ordered mine them did not offer to paint them until just before they shipped out the first sets.I wanted mine right away so I took them unpainted. I have seen emails saying that the painted sets are taking longer to ship out due to the paint work not meeting Silver Horse specs.
