Default New Hurst Shifter

I know this has been mentioned before, but just wanted to add my comments about my new shifter. WOW what a difference. Positive, short shifts. I must give the credit to my son, he did 99% of the work. This is definitely a worthwhile upgrade, for $175.00 and 1-2 hours of work.

It's great you can actually shift through all 5 gears with a flick of the wrist and your elbow on the console.

I love the Hurst and the way it shifts and looks....i get a lot of compliments on it so you will too...one of the best mods for these cars are a short throw shifter cause I was tired of hitting the a/c buttons when I was going throughthe gears hard...

Ordered mine from Brenspeed $176.00 and free shipping.

It is a fairly simple install, the instructions are great. I made sure to add loctite to fastners. The biggest problem was access, I used wheel ramps and axle stands. Cold here though so we kept taking 5 minute warm up breaks.
