Thanks for the responses. We were trying to see if it wasjust bad road states that people noticed the thunking noise. This proves it doesn't matter were you live. And as you guys notice, it doesn't just take a big pothole to make the noise, it's the little bumps/imperfections that cause it. Oh and I have an 07 but the noise has been noticed since the 05+ model came out.Thanks again.

I kinda feel better knowing it's not just my car this is happening to ('06 V6 in Seattle, WA). I'd rather it'd happen to nobody.

We are in South Florida and the 05 V6 has a thunk on wheel turns but not all the time. Have not taked to Ford yet about the problem.

I live in Arizona and my 07 has had clunks and rattles since the day I bought it. It now has about 800 miles on it! It pisses me offbecause the 03 Cobra I traded in wasclunk free, and so is my 03 GT. They re-designed the front springs to be part of the strut on my 07, now the car soundslike a front wheel drive piece of **** when going over any kind of bumps. Another possible cause is the re-designed front wheel drive type link pins. What the hell was ford thinking!
