Hi,

I have an 06 V6 with a Shaker500 unit. Unfortunaltely I cannot play my Ipod sinceMY06 donot come with the MP3 plug.
Since I need to have my Shaker500 replaced (it is draining the battery), I was wondering if I could just ask for a newer unit from an 07 Mustang.
Does anybody know if a swap with a Shaker500 unit from an 07 would workto play my Ipod?

if you gat a older shaker 500 (06) there is a adapter that wii allow you to control your ipod from the head unit available from best buy I had one installled last week works great so far . The manufactuer is periferal elctronics
