first service at dealer
I just took my car in for the first dealer scheduled maintenance. I have had the car for 6 months and it has only 1750 miles (i live 5 miles from my office). Does anyone know what oil they would have used? Is it OK? I just took it in because of the time - not mileage.

Motorcraft 5-20 synth. blend and motorcraft filter.
No reasonto believeit wouldn't be ok - it's what Ford put in it. I'm assuming you took it to Ford, correct (your post doesn't mention where you took it)?

OFCOURSE!! They use the oil to meet the specs, but there are others,....alot of people rave about royal purple but if you read the package it does not meet spec and Ford does not recommend it!
