My car being orange, you can see the black under the thin paint in area's inside the hood lip, and fenders and in the trunk, some marks in the clear coat, some of the trim inside has little scuffs, We can go on!! no dents, no ripples......My 06 redfire also had some areas but not as noticable being a dark colour

well the reason i posted this thread is that there seems to be a ton of things wrong with my car, for example, the front fascia has completely disconnected itself from the black thing that goes under the radiator, and i have a bunch of miscellaneous little dents and scratches and it bothers the hell out of me, i was just wondering if anybody else is the same. i do my absolute best to keep this car pristine, but it seems that its not enough. **** seems to happen to the car regardless.
I have a dent, a small.. Ill say "abrasion", because its not quite a scratch, thats not noticeable unless you know where it is, and tons of little paint chips on my chin spoiler and a few on the hood. Yes, they bother the hell out of me, the paint chips more than anything else. But this saying ^^ is always true. I do baby my car and try to do everything in my power to keep her safe, but alas, I still cant control other people (yet) so her fate is not totally up to me.

As far as your black thing, there are like.. 6 or so screws that connect that to the bottom of the front bumper, might want to let the dealership know if youre missing them next time you go in for warranty work. Should be no trouble for them to snag some of those and put them in there.
well, the screws are intact, its just that they've somehow ripped out of the black thing, much like the way a 3 hole punched paper rips out of a binder. the black thing needs to be replaced. i've never hit anything, and i think its **** that the car comes apart like this. the whole assembly is loose
mine is just like urs, is dangles down from oneside, im just going to replace it with some good aftermarket one, i bet u've seen those news ones some ppl on here put on, might be alittle expensive but it'll last better

ive got quite a few swirl marks on the hood and trunk that bug me, but i have to accept it, because well , thats life.
got a scuff on my rear bumper the size of a nickel from someome backing into me, but since it wont rust, and its quite faint, ive left it for now

is your mustang's body perfect? or does it have little flaws (dents, scratches, etc.)? do they bother you like all hell?
I have a couple of small flaws from the factory like crud under the paint. Then I got a couple of paint chips on the hood and fender wheel flair area from driving it. The primer is white so it shows up bright and clear in a chip on a black car. Have a small chip in the windshield too. Only noticeable when the sun shines behind it.

If you drive your Mustang it happens... get used to it or go nuts.

Couple of overspray around the lower bumper areas, not too noticeable.

No flaws on my 07 at all. I ordered it special so I didn't have something sitting on the lot for 6 months getting acid rain etc. And I didn't want something that someone might have beat on too.

I just detailed the car yesterday, found a lot of nicks everywhere in the car. I also discovered a tiny dent near the gas cap cover. I don't know where it came from because I always pump my own gas... Only thing I can get is that some 4 door vehicle opened their door and lightly tapped it.

yea no dents on mine because of that, i take the corner parkins with most space, but i can be a jerk. i usually carry a cone with me, i park next to the edge and i put a cone in the parkin spot next to mine no door dingers near me!
