how much rain does it take to see a leak? I drove around for about 15 minutes in thunder and lightning, torrential downpours, and through every puddle i could find... My car is soaked! Me too! from the 6 inch deep puddle i had to cross to get into the grocery store... Umm my mustang was manufactured on teh 3rd of June 2005 if that helps... Should i stop worrying if I dont see a wet floorboard after that test? or was it not enough...

 

If its not wet why worry. Consider yourself lucky.

 

park it outside
park it facing uphill
leave it for a few hours

pull the side trim, pull the passenger kick panel, pull back the carpet
if its still dry, you are fine.

 

i just want to find out if I have a leaker beofre the warranty goes away... I have until next summer, but it doesn't rain here often... Trying to use it to my advantage
