Default Spark Plugs

Where is the best place to get new plugs for the S197. I will be spraying but the thought of paying $80 for plugs is rediculous. Anybody found a place cheaper? Thanks

Kragen usually has good deals or Checkers Schucks (CSK), depending where you live.

I bought Bosch Platinums there and stuck with those ever since. Cost me like $45-50 from what I remember.

I think the Autolite HT0s are good for higher HP applications. The 80 might be worth it in the end.

I bought the HT0's from lightningforceperformance.com
I've seen HT0's or stock HT1's go for 9 bucks to 14 bucks apiece.

Yep that is about the range I have seen also. We are suppose to be able to go 100,000 miles before changing the plugs but I will probably not wait near that long. I pull them once and a while to look to make sure nothing was wrong.

Mustangsally why did you switch your plugs to the platinums??

Well this is for a nitrous application so platinums are not wanted. You guys think that the $80 is about the cheapest I will get colder heat range?

Yeah, I'm prety sure that's the cheapest you're gonna get 'em.

I recently picked up a set of HT0's at the local NAPA for $10.99 ea.

I had Autolite spark plugs on the car when I bought it. I checked them one day like I always do when I wash the car and they were really shot! Which made no sense since the car was a year old when I bought it with 19K miles. So I didn't want to stick with those. When I switched to platinums, I notice an increase in power and the way the car ran better.

$80-$90 is about the cheapest you will find the HT0s. Iadded them when i added the zex kit, butended up returning them soon after, then ordered up the FRPP plugs which ran me about $150.
