Hey all. I'm new to the forum (pic comming soon). I have an issue with the shaker 1000 audio system...it's loud! Too loud for the plastic door to keep from rattleing when I turn it up. The odd thing is, only the passenger door makes noise. The driver door is all set no matter what volume. Has anybody else dealt with this issue and is dynamat the only choice I have of could it be a defect?

 

I got the 1000 in mine and haven't noticed any noise from the doors,maybe you have something loose,try taking the door panel off and take a look before you spend $$$ on somehting you don't need.

 

Holy crap! I have the same issue....the drivers door is quiet but the passenger door rattles like hell. Meanwhile, I drove my moms 06 Altima that cost 17,000 ***** and that sh*t is the most quiet car I've ever been in...oh well.....sigh.[&o]

 

take it to the dealer and let them fix it.

 

The strangest part is, if I push on the passenger door handle, (if I am not moving and lean over I mean) it stops. Same thing if I pull on the handle (fairly hard mind you). When I had the door apart I couldn't see anything that would be causing the issue, but it was pretty cold out still and my check was pretty quick so I will have to check again. If I still can't find it I'll bring her in to the dealer. Needs an oil change anyway. Thanks everyone.

 

I have to take mine in on Monday to getthe 1000looked at. The subs in the trunk have completely stopped working and whenever I use the keyless remote to unlock/lock the doors or pop the trunk, I get a huge loud thump through the trunk subs. I havent even had it up loud yet, and the car is only 6 days old, hmmmm, thats quality I guess.

 

This is what mine is doing . Did you ever get a fix for it ?
