Reconnect parking brake?

Reconnect parking brake?
Just got my car back from the dealer after replacing drivers side rear axle shaft (don't ask), and now my parking brake doesn't work. I'm sure he just forgot to hook it up again. Can I do it myself? If so, how? Anything to save another trip to the dealer.

Go back to the dealer...this is their baby and not yours. Its not terribly hard to hook it up, IF that is the problem.

Well, my wife is gone for5 days, and I've got my 7 YO daughter and 2 YO son. I don't see me being able to go back until she returns (Wednesday). Is it okay to wait that long? When I pull it up, it doesn't even make that ratchet sound. Just drops right back down when I let go.

If they did not reconnect them there should still be more tension there.... I cant see the handle just "falling" back down.I dont think its a problem if you cant get it back to them rightaway butdo take it back when you get a chance. It is only like a 10 minute deal if that is all that is wrong.

RE: Reconnect parking brake?
I am truly an idiot. This past weekend, I installed the PIE adaptor (which is awesome, btw). To do so, I had to remove the MGW billet ebrake cover inorder to remove the console, etc. I apparently must have tightened it too much whenI reinstalled it. I just went out there and loosened the thingy (what do you call the screw that you need a nallen wrench to tighten?) and the ebrake button popped out and now it works. Thank god I didn't call the dealer on Monday. Thanks for the help anyway!
