Default Moniter in our 05s??

I've been thinking about installing my xbox and a moniter into my car just for the fun of the customization. But I dont know where I'd put the moniter OR how how I'd power it. Can anyone help?

Well are you looking for interior look and usablility or are you looking for show. Becaust a good place to show off the goodies of the car would be on the bottom of the trunk lid. Tons of space and also its a dull area of the car and you have a ton of options for Finding power. But if that set up would be tough while driving. But would look cool at a show with people playing xbox with a kick *** sound system in the trunk.

In my opinion, putting a monitor on the trunk lid is kinda ricey (not that that's a bad thing, my last car was called "cereal" by my asian friends meaning domestic rice, just not something commonly done with mustangs) If you want a really trick setup, it'd take a lot of work end wire extensions, you could relocate the head unit to inside the console and put the monitor where the head unit was. Mount the Xbox or whatever in the glove box and viola! You have a somewhat stealth installation but have also lost pretty much all your storage inside the car.

I have a DVD player installed in the center console with extra jacks that operate 2 tilting headrest monitors from Visualogic. The headrests are very hi quality and are better then the stock IMO. The kit came with all the wiring harness' needed to hook it up. They also came with 2 headphones that can be set to 2 different channels. That way one person can watch a movie and the other can play on a PS2 or any other unit you have plugged in.

This is the website where I found the headrests.

http://www.mobile-audio.net/mvvizualogic.htm

I have a 3 year old son and he loves it and keeps him happy on long drives. Which makes mommy and daddy happy too.

Also the DVD is installed as to not take up my console space, I use it alot. There is a cavity at the rear of the console, so the guy who installed it was able to cut part of the inside out and slid the DVD unit in at an angle to fit 90% of the unit in the cavity so the face is all you really see., it looks like part of the car.

There are a couple of ways i would do it. One way is to install an in-dash dvd system like i did. Most if not all have external video hook-ups to plug your xbox or whatever into it to display video and hear the sound. They look great and you'll get about a 6.5in to 7in screen. As far as mounting the xbox i haven't really thought about it but i'm sure there are a number of places to put it (trunk comes to mind.) Second way i would do it would be to mount screens into your visors. That way whenever you wanted you could just pull them down and play. Both ways are practical, will look nice and not seem ricey. If you're into it just for show then there are lots of options.

looking at those pictures, do you not have the TCS switch for your traction control next to the hazard button?
