Default Inisde of tunklid...

Okay, so the black plastic piece that is around the light, and the "pull-to-open-the-trunk-if-you're-locked-in-handle",on the inside of my trunklid keeps coming loose and I can hear it rattling while driving.Almost everytimeI open mytunk I have to push it back in. Has anyone else encountered this and found a way to sturdy it?

change your exhaust to a loud mouth or borla, just kidding. Some glue or double sided 3m tape should do the trick

I used a dab of RTV to hold it in place

This is a common condition according to my dealer, it is covered under warranty for a new piece.......they break at the tabs in cold weather

You know what... I'm going to have a go look-see... I think that's my problem precisely!

Ok, if you could, could you take some pictures and highlight the areas you think are rattling? I think my rattle is coming from the shaker-area. Either something inside, beneath, above, or something in that area is my culprit.

I just removed mine. I never open the trunk at night anyway.

Well I didn't want the prostitute to wake up and escape so mine was removed awhile ago.

Velcro might help keep it from moving
