Removal of upper console

Has anyone removed the upper console w/ map lights? I could only find it under headliner removal in the info docs section. To remove the headliner it says "remove upper console". Does it just pull down? I don't want to break it.

Yea,just grab it in the back near the windshield and pull easy,it snaps back in.
