its called learning to drive, you can have no traction with stock gearing if you want

Like anything else it just takes a little getting used to. I had originally put 4.10's in but after driving from NY to PA three times a week, at speeds of 80+ mph I went with the 3.73's. I'm very happy with this gearing, it's better than stock and it pulls much better in 5th gear on the highway. The 4.10's wereAWESOME for around town but on the highway the rpm's were a little too high for my taste.

Unfortunately you kinda have to see for yourself to make a decision.

I went the other way. I had 3.73s and now I have 4.10s. The 3.73s were just not enough for me, and I travel 70+ mph daily.

When I first got my 3.73s there was really no perceptible change in my traction over stock gearing at all. I had no problem adjusting to the 4.10s either. If you are lucky you might find someone who will let you ride in a car with 4.10s, but in retrospect I should have gone with 4.10s first.

But like I said, it is personal taste,Bluestar did the exact opposite of me, and he is satisfied with his decision as I am with mine.

I like my 3.73's and with my 255/45/18 P-Zero Neros they hook up quite well
