Jackstands is a must any time you're under a car. But this job was pretty darn easy if you ask me. Just don't get frustrated when it comes time to guide the damn shifterknub through the hole. It's a bit of a challenge but I installed mine solo so I'm certain you can too. Good luck and let us know when it's in there and get to it!!!

Thanks for all the quick replies guys...
I did end up tackling the project myself... But boy it would have been 100x easier with someone to help me slide it through and take it out...
Not only that but my ramp only lifts my car about 5inches... and since my car is lowered and i am no skinny guy... manuevering under there was close to impossible...

Nevertheless the shifter is installed... And boy is that a nice feeling shifter!

I just installed mine last night myself, it is pretty easy.

Every single post on this makes me WANT ONE.....! can't we talk more about something that's NOT making this car better to drive? That would save me a lot of money guys!!!

Install is pretty easy! This: http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2.../HurstShifter/helped me outagreat deal!! Took me about an hour! Just make sure you have a 10mm deep socket and about a 10"extention. Had to make a couple trips to my local hardware store.

Good luck!
