Raising it fixed my issues.

talk about waking a dead thread.....

btw - the headrests/restraints suck when ur at the track and have a helmet on!!!
Bothers me at the track too but not normally on the street. I have my seat all the way back so it doesn't seem to bother me.

I keep my seat reclined for comfort, and that makes the head supports pretty vertical, so no problems here.
I can see how they'd be in the way if wearing a helmet.

I thought I read on one of these forums that a product is made that allows the stock headrests to be tilted forward or backward. Do a little research and you should find it.
That's interesting, hadn't seen that yet, will try to find.

The salesman said that it could only be adjusted up and down, that the angle forward and backwards couldn't be adjusted. Has anyone else had this problem and is there any solution? I would hate to not buy a car because of the headrest but I can't drive a car that's going to give me a stiff neck. Thanks for any replies.

I was also wondering if there was a way to adjust the headrest. I am short and the headrest pushes my head forward to much. If I am wearing a ponytail it is even worse (if driving with the top down a pony tail is a must). Let know if you ever found a solution.

You can try adding some by other companies (e.g. Saleen) or pop them out and turn them backwards. I saw this on a convertible years ago.
