Keeping a sub in place...

RE: Keeping a sub in place...
I have a sub box with dual 10's. Used a rachet strap (tie down for a pick up) to hold the sub in place. Wedged the sub box upagainst the back of the rear ledge, ran the strap through the holes in the real ledge and racheted it up. Works great and no holes.

You have a hole drilled into the metal floor that's covered by a piece of cleap tape. Just get under the car and drill up through it to make a hole in the "wood" wheel cover.

RE: Keeping a sub in place...
I have a single sub and I mounted it on the passanger side of the trunk. I used self tapping sheetmetal screws to lock everything into place. I pulled back the carpet and inspected where I wanted the box, looked under the car to make sure all was clear, and the rest was history. I ended up mounting the sub just across the spot welds before the spare tire recess. It sits tight with no movement.
