Default crown vic parts?

Has anyone ever come across anything to get better performance out of a crown vic. A buddy of mine is bugging the hell out of me to ask. His wife cut off his ***** when the kids came along and he had to sale the mustang for a family car. But he still has 4.6 V8 mod fever.

We haven' t been able to find anything for it. K&N don't even make an intake for it.

Please help if you can.

You might want to have him give Brent at Brenspeed a call. I know Brent has been tuning the local police cruisers near his shop to get a little better performance and gas mileage out of them. I'm sure he could give some advice.

It s funny you say that. I think that's what he thought he was getting when he bought the vic.....intercpetor type of performance. I told him no way but he didn't listen. This guy is crazy. He's always trying to race me. I just set there and he peels off looking like he is in a hurry to go buy some more groceries.

Depending on what year, he may be able to get some Mercury Marauder parts for it....

A higher stall converter, less restrictive exhaust but I think thats about it except for maybe nitrous.

Gears. The heavy Panther platform cars can use help getting off the line. A set of 4.10 or 4.30 gears will make a big difference.
