Around 23-25 seconds into the aboveclip of me revving my engine during deacceleration my car makes a sort of whining noise. I also hear this noise when I slam on the gas on a straighta way and the car is going through it's gears. It's probably normal (I hope)but I'm curious what in the engine (or whatever) is making the noise. Thanks for your help.

 

my guess......drive-by-wire. The rpms arent dropping like in older cars. I would say i have the same basic thing going on.

 

Its gear rollover. Its completely normal, I wouldn't worry in the slightest.
