Axis Reverb Wheels
Making some inquiries about the Axis Reverb 18x9.5" and 18x10.5" for my 2007. Looking for a wheel/tire combination that does it all (street, strip, rr) reasonably well. Dealer says they'll fit (no interference or sticking out past the fender well). I fired off the same inquiry to Axis themselves.
Anyone here have these wheels? If so, what shoes did you put on them? I know some of you hardcore guys are running low profile 305s on 10 or 10.5s but 295 rears seem more common.
Thanks!

Looks good. But the pic from their site looks like 18X8.5 all the way around.
The 10.5 wheel is listed as a 2.5" lip VS 1".
The photo shows the same lip frt & Rr.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what their reply is about the 10.5s. The local distributor here says he's willing to work with me (trying some different combinations) toget the mostrubber tucked up under there as possible
.
Thanks for the reply btw, I had missed that photo on Axis website. Those do look good on the 'stang.
One of the things that attracted me to this wheel was the low weight and clearance for future large brakes. I also asked axis for the wheel weight for both the 9.5 and 10.5s. Will keep everyone posted.

So "Holy Old Thread!".
I did get a reply from Axis. The biggest wheels they can put under an S197 is 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the back. I'm looking for 9.5 on all four corners so now I'm looking at Kazera KZ-As. They are about a pound heavier per wheel (23.5 vs the Reverb's 22.6) but they will fit 9.5 all the way around.
