RE: Boost Gage installed - pics!
Did you need to take off that panel? I'm trying to figure out how to take that dashboard panel off but I cannot figure it out for the life of me. Any ideas?

ORIGINAL: Local Yokel
Wanted to install a boost gage but couldnt find a single gage pillar pod. Well after looking around and realizing there is nowhere else in our cars to mount a gage (I dont care for the ones that mount in the valley in the center of our dash) I decided on the vent to the right of the driver. To my dismay the gage fit perfectly like it was designed for this location! Took me longer to figure out where to run tubing thru on the firewall than it did to mount the gage. Actually it was interesting taking the center console out since Ive never done that before on this car either. All in all about a 5 out of 10 on the difficulty meter. Wish I had taken pics during for a write up but didnt think of it....

PS - I don't think you mean "to my dismay"
