Saw my first one in person today. It was a torch red/black, manual vert, no stripes.Must say.. it waspretty sweet. Some of the things that impressed me were the two tone leather interior, the ground effects/"body kit"and the wheels. But man, I was severely let down by the sound.... my little ole 4.6 with SLPs put that thing to shame. Even the owner of the GT500 said she loved my pipes and it was alot throatier. Also didnt like the hood that much, or the lettering everywhere. Overall itwas nice... and Id buy one... but not for a dimeover MSRP. [8D]

Sorry I didnt get to snap any pics... but it was pretty dark out in the parking lot, and it was raining so the pics would have stunk anyways lol. K, that is all.

 

They can't make those cars excessively loud out of the factory so comparing a mufflerless 4.6 to a stock gt500 isn't really fair (slp lms are mufflerless imo). Put a high-flo muffler on the gt500 and see what that 5.4 does with it.

 

^ O, I know... I wish I could drop in a 5.4 I can bet it sounds alot closer to what the late Maros and Fbirds sound like.. (The 5.4 with SLPs I mean)

Yeah, i'd love to hear a GT500 with an off-road setup and free-flowing mufflers. That's gotta be an evil sounding setup.
