Default All Vortech H.O. Owners HELP!!

Ok well i'm installing my vortech H.O. in this weekend and of course ran into some trouble. I'm trying to get the belt on and there just isnot enough belt to get it around the pully. I put the idler on the bottom hole like it said for the H.O. Kits but its seems like thats what is making it so I can not get the belt on. What am I doing wrong here? Please help me out. Thanks, Brandon

I didnt install mine, I had Sutton install it but I bet if you call and ask for Doug, he will help you out. Just tell him your friends with the guy with the Black 2005 with the red stripes. 708-720-8500

Is there still a tensioner pulley in place? If so, that's where you'll put the ratchet end in and turn (clockwise i believe) to release tension on the belt. I haven't seen a Vortech H.O. install so I guess this is probably something very different.
Good luck man.

Thanks man the first and second picture is the idler pully i was talking about. See how yours is on the top hole instead of that hole thats right underneath it. Well the instructions say to put it on the lower of the 2 holes for HO kits. Which does not make sense because what would that have to do with having a cooler or not? It makes it so the belt will not even go on. If I put it on the top bolt that will take just enough tension off to get the belt on. Thanks alot man!!!!!!! Those pictures helped me 100 percent. THANKS
