Default Vortech Kit Opinions

I've been debating getting a S/C kit for some time now. But i'm extremely cheap so spending 5-6k on a kit + installation has been holding me back from making the purchase. Well after searching this formun for a while i found thist kit from Vortech. I was just wondering if this is the regular Vortech Kit for our cars and if i would need to upgrade anything on the kit. Im not trying for 450 + Hp 400 would be great for me. And any opinions anyone has would be much appreci http://www.livernoismotorsports.com/...02&large=1

The tuner kits are nice as long as you already have a tuning device of some kind. If not you'll have to buy the complete kits.

Either way this is the least expensive way to get some much needed power for when the Camaro hits the streets.

You need to buy the fuel system components too. You wont get away with spending any less then $4-5000 installed. DOnt forget a good tune can run $400-$600 as well. Basically if you're cheap you shouldnt be looking at superchargers.

4-5k Installed is'tt so bad i just dont want to spenk 5-6K for the S/C then add in installation and any supporting parts. So around 4-5 k installed would be fine.

At my local shop ( very reputable ) i was quoted at $5500 for vortech/install. That included the tune and h/o model too. So if you're planning on spending $5k or so you should be fine.
