Ok, that's not fair....I'll respect your privacy though, and just ask you this. If you'll post the total cost in parts, that would be awesome! If not, then try this. I've been able to negociate $3000 off MSRP, and we're getting $2000 in combined rebate and customer cash. Out of that $5000 total, how much of that would I be looking at giving up if I could get them to put everything on at cost? Minus the decals and badges, of course...

ORIGINAL: PERTANO

The decals and badges make this car a bit too much IMO. I don't like it one bit because somekid is going to pull up next to it one day in his Civic and beat it and give us all a bad name. Hell I'd say I beat a GT500 if I pulled up next to it and raced it. Ha Ha. Now that would suck!!!!
My thoughts exactly.

Haha....that is rediculous. I mean, ok, a supercharged GT comverted to this maybe. But a freaking V6!!! You have to be freaking joking!! No offense to V6s. But anyone making a 6 look like a GT500 should be shot!!!

I'm thinking about the GT 500 front end (yes on my V6) w/o the Cobra badges of course all because of an accident (not my fault) which pretty much “totaled†my current front bumper, side panel, and even hood..

From what I've been able to gather so far in my time here, a supercharged V6 can beat a stock/lightly modded GT, I guess because of the weight advantage. I believe that was just with the SC and tune, no headers, exhaust, or anything else added to the mix. I was pricing those prochargers last night, and the prices I saw seemed to be negociable. 3.55s and 3.73s don't seem to be too costly, I just have to look for a T-lok a bit more. It looks like getting the 6 up or past the eight won't save much money, if any, but it's different. Besides, what could be a bigger rip off than the Shelby GT that only puts out 20 more HP than the stock GT?
