Default This happen to anyone else?

About 2 weeks ago, I installed my C&L intake and Brenspeed xcal2...awesome difference, especially with my auto!

This weekend it was raining like cats and dogs, so the 'Stang stayed in the garage from Friday to Monday. Drove the car on Monday (still rainy) but it was quieter. The exhaust was not as loud (I have Stingers). It didnt have a "hair trigger" anymore. As it was raining, I couldnt put it through the paces.

So drive to work today, and the car is definitely more docile. After work, I run it through the ringer...car no longer chirps second when leaving from a hard launch. It seems like it lost it's tune!!! I reloaded the stock and then switched to the 87 and then the 93...did not seem to help.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any suggestions??

TCS kicking in? The roads have been slick in our parts probably not enough traction to get hard launches

Dont think its the TCS...car honestly seems quieter. Guess I'll give the Brenspeed boys a call...

This happens to me also. I think it has something to do with learning function of the ECM. I usually re-install the tune every once and a while.

I do not know the details, but there is some kind of learning function with the computer. Just do like I do and drive it hard daily! You won't have that problem anymore.

One other possibility:

You've learned the tune and adjust to your new found power, which means. Time for next mod!
