I bought a can of flat black, taped them off with 3M blue masking tape and they came out great, and don't see overspray when looking out your window.
Thanks for the tip.

Those things sure do make the car look old... Not my taste. The one on the whole back window even more over the top.

But I know a lot of people like them so nevermind.

Seeing how that's MY GT in their eBay ad, I guess I should speak up!!!

I was pissed at first, thinking some yokel had stolen my photo! Then I saw that it was Hubcapsplus:
http://wheelskin.com/Merchant2/merch...t_Code=DG-3180
Check that out for another photo. They are cheaper there. Only $184.99 w/ FREE shipping! They charge less for the louvers on eBay but have a $25 shipping fee... Might as well by from wheelskin to save money for both of you.
Just try to do some good, additional prep work on the inside of them, make sure you wipe down the edge of the window well with the wax remover, get some help lining them up when installing and follow directions and you're good to go!

I can't believe Tacobill has the same ones! I guess I chose wisely, eh?

Sweet man! I thought your car looked familiar! Getting any royalties from that?

I'm still waiting on mine to arrive. I ordered almost three weeks ago. I called and left a message, and no response. I'd like to have them by this weekend. [:@]

I'm a complete newbie when it comes to paint. Where exactly did you place the tape?

I like your idea, but I can't afford to mess them up.

I have the same ones on my GT, they are awesome but!
The inside of the things have overspray from the paint on the outside. I told the guy he should tape them off so they remain black on the inside, other than that they are awesome. He said it would up his cost too much. If you look at the pictures of taco bills install, above you will see the overspray.

Not sure why you had overspray... I got mine from hubcaps plus and had no overspray. Perhaps they do better prep work than DG?

That'll **** me off if mine have the overspray.

Starting to think I should have went with Hubcaps Plus....

And how the hell does taping them off increase costs?

That's what you use your side mirrors for.
I drive a 10 x15 foot truck with no windows, so my side mirrors are a blessing sometimes.
