Side Window Louvers - EBay
Hey Everyone,
Well I've had my new GT for less than a week, and I'm already looking at putting on some body candy. I like the look of the side window louvers, but do not like the style (or price) of the Roush ones I can buy at the dealership.
Two questions:
1. Anyone purchase these or ones similar off of E-Bay?

2. I've never owned any kind of car with a warranty before. If I buy these and put them on myself, are they going to freak out at the dealership the next time I go in for an oil change?
Thanks a bunch!

Fletch,
Here are my side window louvers. I have never had the dealership freak out on me, but I didn't put them on, they were on the car when I got it. I didn't buy them off ebay, they have similar ones on the classic design concept website. www.classicdesignconcept.com Annie

I bought the prepainted louvers off E-bay and put them on almost two years ago they changed the look of the car. There are no problems looking out the quarter window. Re: the warranty question .....you're only kidding right?
Fletch, the louvers in that auction are made by DG Custom Auto. I ordered mine direct from them. The price, material, paint match, and customer service were all excellent.
Installing them was a breeze, no 'How-To' required. But, here's some pics of how they went on.

That's looks great, man! Thanks a lot for the link and the pictures. I think I'm going to buy myself a pair today. And no, I was not kidding about the warranty question. I just picked it up a week ago and I'm still trying to make sense of all the literature they dump on you before you can drive away. Just wanted to double check that installing these things isn't going to void any kind of warranty.

I just orderd some quarter louvers from Hubcaps Plus. They're the same DG custom louver but a little cheaper. I'm glad for your pics tacobill, they look nice-I can't wait.
I have the same ones on my GT, they are awesome but!
The inside of the things have overspray from the paint on the outside. I told the guy he should tape them off so they remain black on the inside, other than that they are awesome. He said it would up his cost too much. If you look at the pictures of taco bills install, above you will see the overspray.
I bought a can of flat black, taped them off with 3M blue masking tape and they came out great, and don't see overspray when looking out your window.
