Default Warning Buzzer at 75mph

I have an 07 stang GT that I purchased last December, I read a forum where if my vehicle didn't come with a my color dash, trip computer, and the oil and volt guage that one could be added. I contacted the Ford parts guy recommended in the posts in this forum, after waiting a month because the part was on back order my new dash finally came in. It was a piece of cake to install, I really liked being able to change the color of the dash lights as well as the trip computer and extra guages. A great upgrade and very easy to install.
The problem I am having iswhen the car reaches 75 mph. An irritating chime rings announcing the 75 mph speed. I live in Colorado where the speed limit is 75 mph. I commonly travel between 75mph to 80 mph without ever being hastled by the State Patrol. I read my owners manual and didn't find anything on how to turn off this stupid chime or even that the chime exists. Does anyone else deal with this chime or is this something that has just come out with these my color dash upgrades. Also does anyone know how to program the car to shut this irritatingwarning chime off. Thanks in advance.

I have an '05 Mustang with My Color and the other goodies. I had it over 90 mph. and it never made a chime.
It must be something new in the '07 but not sure.

You can upgrade a standard dash to a my color dash and order it online from http://fordpartsguy.com/, These guys are great, the cost is about $260.00 for the my color dash module with the computer and extra guages, $36.00 for the 3 button module. With shiping it cost me $606.00, after you send in your old dash module they credit you back $300.00. It took me only 15 minutes to install, the dash trim over the module just pops out and only four bolts hold the module in with one plug in wiring harness in the back. I have a message into the Ford part guy asking if there is a method to turn the speed warning chime off. Another chime that this module had is when the vehicle is in reverse it chime constantly until the vehicle is put in a forward gear.

My friend's Stang chimes when slowing down after a high-speed incident. No engine codes, no red guages, no warning lights, normal engine temp, car runs smoothly and fine. Anybody have any ideas/advice?

I've got an 07 with mycolor and have never had any kind of chime come on. I did have a VW that did have a high speed warning that you could program, I'll do some research and try to find something about it.
