My 07 with the MYcolor option does NOT have that chime.....I would hear it EVERY day if it did.

 

+1 the only chime i no of is the seat belt when its not buckled

 

I did the upgrade after also and I also have the chime. I assume yours also beeps when going in reverse? You can email Keven over on the TMS board.

He can tell you. You will have to go to the dealer and ask them to reload the "as built" data for your car. I havent done it yet but I have the GT500 cluster on the way so I will see what happens when I take it in for that swap. I didnt have to have ford do it before because I already had the milage transferred but this time the milage wil need to be transferred so I have to take it to them.

 

I too have never heard the chime. I drive my friends 06 GTO from Atlanta to Naples Fl and everytime you got above 75 it chimed. Later on I could see you could change what speed it would do that. I should of listen to it, because half way down I got a speeding ticket 84 in a 65[:@]

But this is the first I have heard of the GT's having that chime

 

Geez, a chime at 75mph + ? How "Big Brother" is that..... [:@] My 07 GT My-Color equipped doesn't chime either, thankfully. I'd have that little piezo speaker out of there if I had though

That is cheesey. Glad my 06 doesn't have the chime. Too bad they are going to discontinue the my color. I think it is a cool feature. Then again I just leave my gages on blue anyway so I guess it is more of a toy.

 

07 pp here with mycolor and all the guages.. no chimes up to 110 so far..

 

i have a '06 it came from the factory with mycolor and i've never heard a single chime when i get it over 75. who knows maybe the state installed it.were you getting the chime before you put in the new dash???
