over-rev(rpm) the engine?

I set mine to 6700 because every timeI bust them loose out of the hole I was bouncing off the limiter. You can hear a pop like a backfire when it happens sometimes because they cut out ignition so unburned fuel escapes in to the exhaust manifolds.

thats what the tech who fixs my car has told me, that if i break the thing just limp it for the 54 miles and nothing bad will be in the memory so that they can actually warrnety the thing. ill trust my tech at the dealer since they just keep fixing everything i break
