This may have been mentioned, but I don't remember reading about it.
But I had my keys just stuck in the ignition and purposely locked my door with the lock switch on the door when I got out, and the locks just reopened right away. I never noticed this before. I guess it will keep one dummy from locking his keys in the car

 

I read about when I first got my '05 Stang and I tried it. I thought it was cool.
As long as the key is in the ignition and not lying on your seat,floor or cup holder it will work.

Only thing I don't like is you have to turn the key when your have you doors open to listen to the stereo.
I love having the doors open when I clean the car's interior and having the music up.

But in the long run,
I do love the fact that you can shut the car off and leave the stereo on and just open the door and it shuts off.

 

All cars are like that to listen to the radio. Doesn't play by itself.

 

Not really, I had cars you didnt need the key for it.
So, don't try to talk down to me.

 

I just tried that....and it is awesome. I had the second set near me just in case! Not that I doubted anyone....

Now I just wish the manual trans cars would auto lock the doors like the autos when you start moving.
