Ok hawgman, so that means is not correct on the stang 07.

I just got it from Ford and came like that.

I took off the leather and the stick and these are the photos.
I didnt find any ring or anything to handle the stick, any help ?

In that last picture, the top of the leather boot ... the O shapped part should pull up and over the lip on the bottom of the shifter ****.

No, he doesnt. That's part of the Premier Trim package... new for 07.

The ring that the leather is wrapped around should pull up and over the bottom of your shift **** and settle into the groove on your ****. At least that's what it looks like fromt the pics. If it does slide in there and pop back out...take it back the the dealer for a new shift boot

Well im still have the stick not fitting with the boot. I called to the dealer and they told me that this is normal on that cars so the stick can have movement.

So anyone have a pic of his stick so i can compare ?

LOL that sounds about right coming from a dealer...
It's definitely not right... The top of the shift boot should fit around the ring on the bottom of the silver shift ****....
