In that pic of the **** it looks as if there is no bottom part on the shift **** so the leather boot will just slide right off. Maybe you got a defective ****. but take it back for sure and let them give you a new **** or something.

shifter ****. i think someone stole the stock one and replaced it with a different one

 

look at skils4u2nv. his is mounted properly and yours should lock together just like that. dont think that there is anything wrong with yours . just push the boot up tight on the ****. your boot and shifter are the factory upgraded ones.

 

you might be missing the bottom lip on the shifter ball that holds the boot on but its hard to tell in the picture. here is mine but with the stock GT ****.

Damn, that shifter **** looks like it would melt your hand in the summer.

 

They are both stock shifters, I like the one above as it was the one mine came with but then again i like this the best!

That is part of the 07 package, I also haw the upgrade like yours, it is not right, just take it to the dealer if you can not reinstall it, they will see it is not normal when they see it, over the phone they probably just thoughtyou were talking about the overall looseness of the boot material, I write service at dealer,

 

blhahahahah girls will love it.
